Meeting Watch Parties

OSWAPIC Chapter Meeting Watch Parties are an additional option for attending Chapter Meetings in-person. Watch Parties are hosted by chapter members at a various meeting/conference rooms, equipped with AV set-up to join the virtual chapter meeting as a group. This is a great opportunity for local chapter members to meet in-person.

T-Shirt Design Contest

We are excited to announce a fundraiser that invites your creativity and involvement in designing our official chapter T-shirt. You'll have the chance to submit your design ideas, and the winning entry will be chosen through a member vote. Once selected, the design will be produced and sold, with all proceeds going directly to the OSWAPIC Community Impact Fund.

Submission Dates: March 13th - March 27th

Voting Dates: March 31st - April 11th

The OSWAPIC Special Thanks And Recognition (STAR) Awards are an annual recognition bestowed by the OSWAPIC Chapter to honor six outstanding members for their exceptional contributions to the field of Infection Prevention.

These awards aim to appreciate individuals for their exceptional performance, promote innovation, and encourage creative thinking within the Infection Prevention profession.

Nomination Deadline: 10/31/2025

Nominee Eligibility:

  • Must be an active member of the OSWAPIC Chapter. 
  • Must have made significant contributions to the field of Infection Prevention, demonstrating excellence in the selected nomination category.

Nominator Information:

  • Nominations can be submitted by any OSWAPIC member, peers, supervisors, or stakeholders within the Infection Prevention community.
  • Information Required:
    • Nominator and the Nominee's Name, Title, and contact information.
    • A detailed description with specific examples of the Nominee's contributions and/or achievements to the field of Infection Prevention as it relates to the selected STAR Award nomination category (min 150 words, no more than 500 words).
