Please help! Only one IP per facility should fill out the survey.

APIC members have long shared their challenges with medical device instructions for use (IFUs) which may potentially put patients at harm and healthcare facilities at risk for citations, despite the infection prevention and control (IPC) team's best efforts to follow widely accepted IPC standards for cleaning/disinfection/sterilization. As a result, APIC conducted in-person and virtual listening sessions with infection preventionists (IPs) to develop a better understanding of the problems they face.
To better serve the needs of our members and to inform U.S. regulatory agencies, this survey is intended to quantify problems identified in our qualitative assessments of difficulties IPs may have with medical device IFUs.

• Only one IP per facility should fill out the survey.
• Respondent should be a currently practicing IP in a healthcare facility.
• APIC will not identify your facility in any report or results issued.
• This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
