    Hi all, 

    I just wanted to come on here and introduce myself to my local IP community. I'm the infection prevention and control nurse for the corrections health division of the Multnomah County Health Department. This is a brand new position so I am helping to develop the IPC programs for the 2 adult jails and the juvenile facility in Portland, OR. Are there any other correctional IPs in this group?

    Welcome Cate! I am one of the infection preventionists for the Oregon State Hospital (the state psychiatric hospital). Though not a correctional facility, we may have some things in common if you ever want to connect!

    Thank you for your response! Our division works pretty closely with OSH. I imagine our sites/populations have quite a bit in common related to IPC. I reached out on LinkedIn! I would love to hear more about the structure and function of your team.
