  • 1.  Flu vaccinations for staff

    Good Morning everyone!

    I was wondering about what your facility is doing for flu vaccinations for staff this year. 

    1. Are you requiring masking of those unvaccinated?  

    2. When are you starting the masking and when are you recommending the vaccination be given?

    We generally start in October, but I am told some facilities are not starting to vaccinate until November.  Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

    We require masking for those not vaccinated during high influenza like illnesses. They are required to wear the mask for 2 weeks post the drop to low flu like illnesses in our state. Hope this helps.
