Infection Prevention Specialist – Belleville & Shiloh, IL
This role offers meaningful variety—inpatient, outpatient, OB/women & infants, pediatrics, oncology, and procedural settings—alongside strong Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship partners and engaged executive leadership.
You’d be one of two Infection Prevention Specialists, working with a newly hired IP Lead and a close, supportive system-wide IP network. The program is in a reset phase, moving toward a modern, clearly scoped, data-driven IP practice.

Who we’re looking for:
• Nursing, public health, or related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• 2–5+ years experience (preferred IP or related)
• CIC preferred (required within 2 years of hire)
• Curious, adaptable, strong communicator
• Comfortable working across varied acuity and service lines
Details:
✔ Full-time, salaried
✔ Monday–Friday, daytime hours
✔ On-call rotation
✔ $68,224–$104,811 annually (based on experience)
