COVID Health and Safety Protocol

We want our guests to feel comfortable and protected while at our event.   We recommend vaccination, masking, social distancing in crowded situations but the final level of precautions are left up to the individual. To this end we have again situated vendor tables farther apart than in the past and will make seating at least 6 feet apart available for those people who prefer.

Purpose
The Bi-State Infectious Disease Conference was developed in 1996 as a collaborative effort of the local APIC Chapter 73, public health departments and school nurses in the Missouri and Illinois bi-state area.

The annual conference is designed to provide continuing education for health care professionals from Missouri and Illinois.  It provides the most current information for disease intervention, detection, prevention, control and preparedness pertaining to infectious disease in order to provide optimal healthcare to our patients and to our community.

Target Audience Designed for public health personnel, family physicians, generalists, hospitalists, infectious disease specialists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, infection preventionists, correctional nurses, school nurses and dental assistants.
