Membership
​The Membership Committee is responsible for collaborating with the Board, Chapter committees, the membership, and other key stakeholders on effective strategies to actively recruit, engage and retain members.

Roles and Responsibilities of Committee Members:

• Actively recruits and retains members through contact with current and prospective members as appropriate
• Assists with follow-up on lapsed memberships to re-engage as assigned
• Provides support through welcoming and mentoring new members and builds connections with experienced members
• Identifies target groups and individuals for potential membership and conducts outreach as needed
• Maintains updated information on the latest member services and benefits to use during retention and recruitment discussions
• Disseminates chapter updates and relevant information with all members through weekly blasts, messaging through the chapter web site, etc.
• Evaluates needs of the membership on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations to the Board for optimal results
