These meetings are to connect with facilities and provide updates on current legislation, infection prevention and control standards and guidelines, and education/training opportunities.

In this meeting we will share the services HAIIP can provide to the County’s facilities. We will speak more on the grant we received and how it will be used to support our facilities in infection prevention and control, antibiotic stewardship, testing and vaccinations, and more (see attached letter) Our new SBCDPH HAIIP team members will also be introduced, such as our health educators, pharmacist, and nurses.

We are also providing an incentive to facilities for attending this meeting, such as a variety of PPE supplies.

So please join us in-person on February 28th, meet your local and state public health partners, receive important information and infection prevention resources, and attend to claim the incentive.

Additional details and agenda will be sent out in the coming weeks.
