Hello! Curious about other CAH and LTCF policies for cleaning bedside commodes. Currently our nursing staff dumps/rinses in toilet after each use. And for extended stay patients and the LTC residents nursing/CNA does a weekly thorough cleaning in the shower area which involves soaking pot with bleach/water ...
