The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) is an international organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality through infection prevention and epidemiology.
Founded in 1982, APIC Grand Canyon (APIC GC) is Arizona’s only APIC chapter, representing over 170 infection preventionists across diverse healthcare settings, including acute care, behavioral health, ambulatory care, and long-term care. We also collaborate with associate members, industry partners, and organizations such as the Arizona Department of Health Services, HSAG, Maricopa County Department of Health, and Arizona’s HAI Advisory Committee.
Our members are committed to advancing infection prevention through education, networking, and sharing evidence-based practices. Chapter meetings offer opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.
