Chapter Websites

Chapter websites can be useful in creating member awareness and connectedness. They also inform potential members, members of the local community, and other healthcare consumers about infection prevention and the work of APIC and the local chapter.

APIC provides chapters with a technology platform, as well as staff support to build and maintain their own chapter-specific websites. Chapters provide APIC with content and other input in the initial site design. APIC subsequently provides chapters with resources and training to help them update and maintain their sites.

Chapters also have the option of developing their own websites with external 3rd party vendors. Whether your chapter has an APIC or third-party website, it must meet the requirements as set forth by APIC (requirements provided below). For those chapters that have sites hosted by APIC, the additional training materials and resources on this page will help you in your efforts to update and maintain your chapter site.
