Dear APIC Inland Northwest Members,
Our chapter is seeking candidates to serve on the APIC INW Board, and we would love for you to consider getting involved! Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to support our mission, strengthen your leadership skills, and help shape the future of our chapter.
Elections will take place at our November 14th chapter meeting.
Currently, all positions are open except President and Immediate Past President. Terms officially turn over in February 2026, which allows time for a smooth handoff from the prior person in the role.
Board Member Commitment:
- All roles are 2-year commitments, with the exception of President-Elect, which is a 3-year track (1 year as President-Elect, 1 year as President, and 1 year as Immediate Past President).
- Board members are expected to attend at least 80% of all Board and member meetings.
As a Board member, you'll gain access to APIC's Chapter Leader Resource page, receive invitations to Chapter Leader meetings and trainings, and-most importantly-have the full support of your fellow Board members. You won't be on your own! Plus, our chapter awards one scholarship to the APIC National Conference for board members (in addition to one for general membership), which gives you two chances to win.
How to Apply
If you are interested in running for one of the open positions, please send the following information to apic.inlandnw@gmail.com or to me directly at mmfrench@kh.org:
- Name
- Email
- Current Organization and Job Title
- Board Position(s) of Interest
- How long you have been a member of APIC
In addition, we ask each candidate to submit a short paragraph (4–6 sentences) describing why you would make a good fit for the position(s) you're interested in. You may include your experience, skills, and what you hope to contribute to the chapter.
Please submit your information and candidate statement by October 1st so we can share it with members ahead of the election.
