About

Welcome!       Visit us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn!

The Association for Professionals in Infection Prevention and Control (APIC) Puget Sound Chapter 062 serves the Puget Sound area in Washington State, from Clark County to Whatcom County. Our local chapter includes Infection Preventionists (IPs) from acute care hospitals, long-term care, behavioral health, ambulatory care, and more. APIC Puget Sound understands the importance of being up-to-date on infection prevention issues and provides an opportunity for IPs to stay informed by providing evidence-driven educational opportunities. As IPs, we strive to educate each other, our healthcare colleagues, and the public about the importance of providing safe healthcare through the prevention of infections.
