First Time CBIC Eligible, Exam Fee Reimbursement Annual Raffle
Each year, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Long Island Chapter will raffle a scholarship to reimburse the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) exam fee for one (1) active member who applies, takes and passes the examination for the 1st time.
To be eligible, members must:
o Have been an APIC LI member for ≥ 1 year.
o Have attended at least 75% of chapter meetings.
o Pass the CBIC exam (documentation of pass required)
o Commit to supporting the chapter within the next two years by either serving on a committee or volunteering for chapter needs (e.g., ad-hoc committee).
o Maintain an active membership of Long Island Chapter 38
Submittal of this form must be sent to Pamela Calvanese via email; pamela.calvanese@stonybrookmedicine.edu before December 31st of the current year.
Announcement will be made at the January General Membership meeting.
