The Infection Preventionist works with general supervision to design and implement the hospital wide infection prevention program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: policy/procedure development, management of critical data, epidemiological analysis, internal/external reporting of data, facilitation of the Infection Prevention Committee and subcommittees of the Infection Prevention program (as indicated), product evaluation, team member education, monitoring for environmental and practice compliance.
