GB APIC Secretary, Erica Jones (Infection Preventionist at MT Washington Pediatric Hospital) is a finalist for the 2018 APIC film festival. The video on construction and renovation demonstrates the importance of construction mediation and mitigation efforts in a high risk and vulnerable population. The finalist topics included hand hygiene, surgical attire, MERS-CoV, hospital acquired pneumonia prevention, central line associated blood stream infection (CLABSI), and construction and renovation. The Grand Finalist will receive a full complimentary registration to the 2018 APIC National Convention and have their video played at the opening plenary session in front of thousands of attendees.
