Jennifer Kuhn, RN, BSN, CIC, is a certified infection prevention nurse who works for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Prevention Program, with a focus on Ambulatory Care. She has 17 years of experience as a registered nurse with the last 7 years in infection prevention. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from UW-Oshkosh and started her career in pediatric nursing holding roles in acute care, neonatal intensive care, and leadership. With a desire to impact patients on a broader level, she shifted her focus to infection prevention. Infection prevention oversight has included acute care hospitals (pediatric and adult), a critical access hospital, inpatient behavioral health, ambulatory clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers.
