The APIC Bay Area Chapter was founded in 1979 and has grown to be a diverse group including infection preventionists (IPs), public health, academia, healthcare vendors and other healthcare professionals. As an extension of APIC, we promote the fields of infection prevention, epidemiology, and public health.
