NYS INFECTION CONTROL COURSE FOR HCW
- NYSNA If you're already a member of NYSNA, go to the E-learRN (through NYSNA): If you are a NYSNA member, the least expensive option is to go to NYSNA's online learning system, called "e-leaRN" http://www.elearnonline.net/statemandate.aspx and take the course online. It costs about $25. Otherwise, MVCC and BOCES offer it, but the cost is a little more. I'm told there is no cost to join NYSNA; however, you just have to register and then get your NYSNA number. Here is the direct link to the Infection Control course that's offered: http://www.elearnonline.net/coursedesc.aspx?ClassID=496&s=44
- If you're not yet a member of NYSNA, go to www.nysna.org and click the tab for "join us". Once you've joined, from the main NYSNA screen, you can access the link to E-leaRN by going to Nursing Practice-->Continuing Education--> scroll down to find the NYS Mandated Courses, then click link that says, click here to get started.
