The APIC North Central Wisconsin (NCW) Chapter is made up of more than 40 members with expertise from a variety of areas including acute, ambulatory, and long-term care. With representation from the northern and central part of the state, APIC NCW is a strong network of infection preventionists (IPs) dedicated to patient safety, quality, epidemiology, and education. In addition to infection prevention, the chapter’s educational opportunities and discussions also focus on regulations, research, reporting, leadership, and process improvement. Being a member of APIC NCW is a great way to be an active safety leader by partnering with colleagues across the continuum of care.
