When you become an APIC member, you join the largest network of infection preventionists committed to patient safety.

Learn about the benefits of membership.

The APIC North Central Wisconsin Chapter 070 is made up of more than 40 members with infection prevention expertise from a variety of areas including acute, ambulatory, and long-term care. With representation from the northern and central part of the state, APIC NCW is a strong network of infection preventionists (IPs) dedicated to patient safety, quality, epidemiology, and education.

One benefit of being a relatively small APIC chapter is your ability to develop professional and personal relationships with other members. These relationships enable IPs to network and support each other in a very effective manner.

The APIC NCW chapter has scheduled chapter meetings throughout the year. In addition to infection prevention, the chapter’s educational opportunities and discussions also focus on regulations, research, reporting, leadership, and process improvement. The APIC NCW chapter members have a very visible role of participation at the annual WI State APIC conference which is held in the spring of every year. Being a member of APIC NCW is a great way to be an active safety leader by partnering with colleagues across the continuum of care.
