State Seminar Link 2024

APIC Southeastern Wisconsin (SEW) was formed in 1972 by the Hospital Infection Control Officers in the Greater Milwaukee Area. Through the years, the chapter has grown to encompass all of Southeastern Wisconsin. Membership representation consists of acute, ambulatory, public health, and long term care settings. The chapter has over 150 members.

Our purpose is to influence, support and improve the quality and safety of healthcare through the practice and management of infection prevention and the application of epidemiologic principles in all health care settings.

APIC SEW dedicates an hour long educational program at each chapter meeting to include topics relevant to our diverse areas of practice.  We have a strong networking relationship with the Wisconsin state department of public health where we share educational opportunities across the state of Wisconsin.

Additionally, members of APIC SEW benefit from the development of supportive networking and friendship relationships that support professional and personal growth.
