APIC SC Palmetto is the local chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., an international association with the primary goal to direct, support and improve the practice and management of infection prevention and the application of epidemiology.
APIC SC Palmetto became a chartered chapter of national APIC on September 17, 1982. The chapter is comprised of members from all over the state of South Carolina and represents our 3 regions - Upstate, Midlands and Lowcountry. Regional meetings are held regularly throughout the year.
APIC SC Palmetto is dedicated to the education of its members, other clinicians, patients and the public. We invite you – members and non-members – to explore our website and see what we have to offer.
