Mission: To advance the science and practice of infection prevention and control

As one of the first APIC chapters in California, APIC San Joaquin serves Central California including Fresno, Tulare, Kings, Mariposa, Madera, Merced and Stanislaus counties. As a voluntary and multidisciplinary organization, our purpose is to influence, support and improve the quality of healthcare through the practice and management of infection control and the application of epidemiology in all health settings. We are committed to improve patient care, prevent adverse outcomes and minimize occupational hazards associated with the delivery of healthcare. We strive to improve patient care by serving the needs and aims common to all disciplines united by infection control and epidemiology.
