The Hawai'i Chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology was started in 1976 and serves the entire state of Hawai'i. Chapter members are involved in infection prevention and control in a wide variety of settings including acute care, long-term care, ambulatory care, public health, quality improvement organizations, and consulting.
