APIC - Central Texas Chapter 116

Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology
Central Texas Chapter 116

APIC has been a leader in the promotion of Infection Control and Epidemiology since the 1970’s. The Central Texas chapter re-formed in 1997. It provides a network of support and education to professionals in central Texas that work in infection control, public health, or related disciplines. We meet monthly to discuss topics that range from outbreaks of communicable diseases, legislation that affects healthcare, emerging infectious diseases, infection control issues at local facilities, and opportunities for community engagement. Meetings also include educational presentations that are given on variety of topics. Lunch is often provided by generous speakers.
